These photographs are from a body of work called “Oil and Water”. The idea behind the work is how color interacts with geometric forms and architecture and changes the way we perceive the color, and how different color combinations will change the feeling of the photograph.
All the work was done in a lighting studio with gel lights and taking a picture. Then I print the image and use that as the back ground. Then I repeat this process 5-6 times to get the final image. No photoshop was used to make these images.
The main idea of this work was for the viewer to interact with the photographs and really engage with them to try to understand how light and color interacts with objects to create new environments.
