Changing Waters: Human Impact on Florida\'s Aquatic Systems

The rivers of Florida are among my favorite places to be and photograph. When I pay attention to the riparian landscape it makes me more aware of the web of life, and the incredible beauty I encounter inspires me artistically, Rivers are the lifeblood of our planet and our survival depends on their health. My work invites viewers to connect with waterways on a deep emotional level, so that they will live more harmoniously and respectfully. Florida has a wealth of water in its springs and rivers, but these sources of water are not limitless and are frequently adversely affected by the hand of man. My work shows the viewer what we are at risk of losing.
