For my series Object Portrait, I photographs objects that have been reworked reinforce their own inherent meanings, and eliminate any extraneous information. The series is presented in two ways. One, the noise, where we see the objects arranged within the frame of entropy, in clean white to create a visual static. The second is via painting the objects black to highlight their shape.
All of these objects have been rescued from goodwill stores, or waste management sites, that presumably have been discarded from peoples homes after they have been finished their use.
